We are an organization whose aim is to teach care of orchids in the home setting, to encourage members to try new species, and how to successfully grow these beautiful plants.

Meetings are normally held at the East Wiltshire School or occasionally at the Atlantic Vet College with presentations and guest speakers.
Members are notified of upcoming meetings by e-mail or phone.
Anyone who wishes to attend our meetings can contact either Andrea or Marcelo at the addresses below for the date, time, and location.
Next meeting TBA
Membership is $10 per year which allows the member access to bulk ordering of growing supplies and orchid plants. Membership also offers the opportunity to meet like-minded people with a wealth of knowledge in the art of growing orchids.

Our club members range from those who own one plant to those who own hundreds.
One of the most rewarding experiences is to have an orchid grow and rebloom for you under your care and then to share it with other orchid enthusiasts.
We also host open houses several times a year; everybody is welcome to attend.

The PEI Orchid Club is a member of the Canadian Orchid Congress.

We had a booth at the PEI Garden Show that was held at the
Southshore Actiplex in Crapaud on April 17th and 18th, we gave out brochures containing information on orchids.
We had members on hand to answer any questions.
There were plants for sale and we were taking orders also.
If you missed us and would like to order some plants or
for more information, contact Andrea or Marcelo.

The display at the Garden show was fantastic, the wide variety of orchid species certainly attracted a lot of people and surprised many who thought that growing orchids on PEI was impossible.
